Found this in a book several days ago. I am not surprised as she is on my mind. I miss Annie, but I know she is at peace.

I am so sorry and sad to just now hear about Annette's passing. I went to St Thomas Elementary school with her and her brother (don't quite remember his name, I think it was John. They lived on Ainslie street across the alley from our family. It was great to see her and her husband Jim at our 50 year school reunion that she worked so hard to set up. Everyone had a wonderful time because of her good work. It was the most enjoyable get together my wife and I had ever attended. I apologize for being so late in expressing my condolences as I was in a serious car accident just weeks before her passing and have been disabled for almost two years now. I wish the best for your family.

May God in His eternal goodness bring comfort to Annie's family at this time. May the Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ which our Orthodox church honors May 25th, bring each of her loved ones the assurance that truly Annie is at rest in God's unmatched care. Eternal be her memory.

My sweet, beautiful, loving friend of 50 plus years, seems incredibly impossible.
But I count myself lucky and blessed to have known and loved you this very long time.
My last wish is peace for you and unification on the other side.

Annie was a unique person. She cared about everyone and wanted to fix the problems anyone faced. Truly a loving person and with an incredible will to live. She was so proud of her children, Jeannie and Jimmy, and so in love with her husband, Jim. I find comfort in believing Eleni greeted her with open arms. R.I.P. my dear friend.
