ARTHUR SHAPIRO Obituary
Dr. Arthur Louis Shapiro, M.D., age 96, of Chicago; beloved husband of the late Shirley Shapiro nee Steinberg; loving father of Cele (Robert) Passin, Joanne (Richard) Mazursky and Donald (Robbin) Shapiro; devoted grandfather of Julie (Marc) Fein, Debbie Passin, Scott Passin, Michael (Jamie) Mazursky, Kenneth (Diana) Mazursky, Lauren (Mark) Cohen and Brittany Shapiro; great-grandfather of Olivia Mazursky, Jonah Mazursky Gabriella Mazursky, Lucas Mazursky, Jayden Cohen, Riley Cohen, Zach Fein and Blake Fein; fond brother of the late Norman (Leona) Shapiro; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dr. Shapiro was the past President and board chairman of Chicago Loop Synagogue. He also was a past Vice-President of the Chicago Dermatological Society. Funeral Services Thursday 10 a.m. at the Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette. Interment Shalom Memorial Park, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Loop Synagogue, 16 S. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60603. Funeral info 847-256-5700.

Words cannot express how I felt when I read the death notice about your dad. He was a wonderful man and an excellent physician. We had great memories of all the Shapiro's on Colfax Avenue.
