Benjamin Carleton Obituary

Benjamin L. Carleton, Jr., 94, died November 24, 2017 in Evanston, Illinois. Devoted and loving husband of the late Joan Langlois Carleton. Fond brother of the late Mae Hill Peck and the late Kitty Goldman. Dear friend of Dr. William and Camille Woodward, and many others. Ben married later in life, waiting until he found his true and everlasting love in Joan. They shared many wonderful and exciting years together, traveling the world and sharing their many interests with each other. In keeping with his desire to help others, Ben has donated his body to the Illinois Anatomical Gift Association and a portion of his estate to Lurie Children's Hospital, Chicago. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Ben or Boozie as I knew him was a man of great knowledge and experiences. He willingly shared his life and his escapades. He loved Joan, the love of his life. I will miss him but assured he is with the Lord and Joan.
