Benjamin Daidone, 89, beloved husband of the late Mildred, nee Knudsen for over 611/2 years; devoted father of Michael (Sharon), Wayne (Laura) Daidone, Marilyn (Ralph) Bridegan and Donna (Timothy) Loftus; cherished grandfather of 12; great-grandfather of three; dear brother of Michalena (the late Sam) Longo. Visitation and services Friday, 10 a.m. until 12 noon at Malec & Sons Funeral Home, 6000 N. Milwaukee Avenue, Chicago. Interment Memorial Park, Skokie. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army, 10 W. Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, IL 60016. Info Piser Funeral Services, 847-679-4740.
