Bjorn was no nonsense, fair and the best employer I ever had the opportunity to work for. My Kids and I became part of the Hestad Family over the years. I will always cherish his respect and the love he showed to me.

I was telling Peter the other night that one thing kept coming up in Bjorn's memory and that was the vision of the Japanese jumping off the cliff in the south pacific. Even when he was well into his illness I talked with him as he sat alone at Marshas and he re-told the story to me. In the middle of a war he could'nt help but have compassion for the enemy. It bothered him to the end, it shows what a great man he was, we should all learn from that.

We have wonderful memories of Bjorn with his family next door to us. All we can say is what a great man he was to have such a loving family. Mrs. Hestad, Anne, we are deeply sorry for your loss. Marsha Patty,Peter and all your families God bless you at this trying time. Love to all of you. Carolyn Glen and Sons.

Bjorn Hestad was a man who enriched anybody's life that he touched. We feel so very lucky to have known and loved him. He will continue to live on through his family and friends memories.
