It wasn't jut his wit that drew us to him. It was his humanity--his kindness, his vulnerability, his innate decency. His humor was gentle, never cutting, & when others would disparage, Brian would defend. I am saddened God saw fit to take him from us too soon.

I worked with Brian in Englewood. What a stand-up guy! He had integrity and displayed quiet strength. Brian was well liked by everyone. We always tried to get him to go out after work but he preferred to go home to his family which was the smartest thing to do! I'm so sorry that he's gone way too soon! My condolences to the family.

Sending our condolences and prayers. I attended St. Vincent;s with Brian. I was 2 years behind him. I always have had fond memories of him. Brian was always fun to be around, great personality and was good to all of us. We pray for strength and peace and we will keep Brian in our memories. God Bless all of you.

Sue and The entire Daly family, I was so sadden to hear about Brian. I had the pleasure of working with Brian for a couple of years in Englewood on midnights. I had many memorable shifts. Great police officer and just a great guy. I ran into Brian just a couple of months ago walking in the neighborhood. We talked for awhile about the old times and retirement. Dear Daly Family, I had the pleasure to work alongside Brian for a number of years and considered him more of a friend than a boss. His love of his family, kind words and fatherly advice are memories of Brian that I will always remember him by. Friend, you will be missed.
