My condolences to Jon, Susan, and family. Carl's
presence will be missed.

I feel blessed that I had the good fortune of knowing Carl for over 50 years. We shared many good times on the trails and the peaks in the Canadian Rockies with friends from Calgary, Canmore, Toronto, and Switzerland. I was delighted the year that Ilse joined all of us.

Many years ago I had the pleasure of meeting
Eileen, Jon and Susan at Mt. Assiniboine Lodge,
and in the past few years Jon has kindly kept up
communication.

Carl was an amazing man. He did a lot.....and for a
long time too.
