Chuck Sener, the last one to leave the party at 103 ½ years old. 47 years with Illinois Bell and AT&T. Starting as a lineman and graduating as the Assistant Vice President/Director Bell System Center for Technical Education in Lisle, Illinois. BA, Electrical Engineering from IIT through the GI Bill. Served in the Army of the United States beginning in December 1941 until February of 1946. Returned to marry Helen Jane (Whitehead) his wife of 68 years, and raise five sons; Stephen (Sherri), Thomas (Nanci), Joseph (Linda), Timothy (Juanita), Martin (Lynn). He had nine grandchildren, Matt (Cara), Mike, Christina (Chris) Townsend, Joseph (Eris), Kathryn (Keenan) Foley, James, Alex (Emily), Michelle, Daniel, and five great-grandchildren. Since 2017, a valued member of the Villa St. Benedict Independent Living Residence, in Lisle. Visitation Wednesday January 3, 4-8PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle. Funeral Mass Thursday January 4, 11 AM at Villa St. Benedict 1920 Maple Ave., LIsle. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

My husband, Ken and I worked at BSCTE/Bellcore TEC. We made many friends there over the years. It was an incredible place, thanks to Mr. Sener. I'm sorry that we didn't know where he was residing in the area, to thank him.

Worked with Mr. Several for many years at BSCTE/Bellcore/Telcordia for over 2 decades.
He'll be missed. Nice man who really knew how to care for employees.
