This is her type of day--crisp blue sky and beautiful lake upon which to have a boat.

During June when the days are long and the sky and lake shimmer, it is easy to think of Chrissie out enjoying "her lake."
I never go into Holy Name Cathedral without looking up at the choir area and remembering going to Christmas eve mass to hear Chrissie and the choir she led as she played her guitar. I belonged to another parish, but went there on Christmas eve as long as she was there.
I am so grateful I knew her and sorry I lost track of her as the years went by.

I lost track of Chris after she left Holy Name Cathedral as choir director. She made the 5 PM Christmas Eve mass alive with contemporary music.
I had many good times with her on her boat, at a party she hosted at her home in Hyde Park, at dinner, and all are marked with memories of her smile, her upbeat outlook, her deep faith.
She shared her gifts with so many of us and certainly is smiling down at us now.

Distressing to hear of the untimely passing of CDRE Christine Tamani. Heaven will now be able to experience, first hand, the famous Christine peal of laughter. She will be sorely missed.

Chris was always a bright spot in life, and she enriched the earth with her generous heart, her musical talents and her happy attitude and smile. May she know God's peace and presence now.

I am so sorry to hear of Christine's death. I have so many fond memories of her and the Choir at Holy Name. She will be missed.
