Dear Mary & Family,
I am sad to learn that you have lost your dear husband, father, and grandfather. I don’t get to see your group of the Scotese family too often, so I am grateful that I was able to visit with Chris and many of you at Mary Beth’s earlier this summer. I will remember Chris as a kind-hearted man who leaves behind a legacy that he was surely proud of. You all are in my thoughts.
With Sincerest Sympathy,
Laurie

I'm happy and honored to be able to say that I knew this man. I always felt welcomed and 'special' in his presence. The way in which he and his wife worked and played and lived always inspired me. I hope that his lessons have taken root in me as they have in his sons and daughters. I will miss you, Mr. Scotese.

To the Scotese family, dear friends who have had a special place in my heart for years, my deepest condolences & prayers for you all.
When I would come over or ran into him someplace in the neighborhood, Mr. Scotese would take a sincere interest on how I was & find a way to make me laugh,(esp. NEEDED at times)And somehow, I would find a way to make HIM laugh as well...I don't think I ever had the same kind of rapport with parents of any of my other friends. I miss the laughs, his jokes & his kindness. And I believe those qualities have been passed on to Joe, Ralph, Anita, Mary Beth & Chris.
And to Mrs. Scotese, my heart goes out to you especially.
You all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for welcoming me into your home, for your kindess & your generosity. It is most appreciated.
And whenever I think of Mr. Scotese, I have a smile on my face. Still do.
Peace - JC
