We were sorry to hear of Dan's death. Dan's father was my Godfather and Uncle. We lived on Catalpa in Chicago and spent many hours visiting our cousins on Highland Ave. Please accept our condolences and prayers. It is hard for us to realize that all of Aunt Mary and Uncle Matt's children are gone. We left Chicago in 1953 but haven't forgotten all the wonderful people we were close to in our BIG IRISH family. Danny Mostyn was my first cousin. Mathew Mostyn, Dan's father, was my Godfather and Uncle. My father was Patrick Mostyn and my sister was Patricia Mostyn and my brother is James Mostyn. We all lived on Catalpa in Chicago and spent many hours visiting on Highland Avenue when we were children. I have fond memories of Danny. He was a few years older than me but always was such a NICE GUY and treated us younger cousins great. We were always happy to be in his company and I'm sure he continued to be a loving kind person all the years of his long life. It is hard for me to think that all the children from Aunt Mary and Uncle Matt's family are now gone. I'm sure Dan will be missed by all who loved him. We never knew Marilyn or Dan's children because we left Chicago in 1953 but my husband, Bill, and I want to express our sympathy to all of his family. We may have left Chicago but everyone there is still remembered and thought of often. We are sorry we will miss the Memorial Service but you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Mary and Bill Kalk
