Daniel Ogarek Obituary
Age 68, late of Plainfield, and formerly of Burbank, IL, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016. Born June 18, 1947 in Chicago to the late Florence (nee Plecki) and Joseph Ogarek. Beloved husband of 46 years to Linda (nee Krueger) Ogarek; loving father of Daniel Ogarek (Kari), Donald (Debbie) Ogarek, Douglas (Kim) Ogarek and Cheryl (Robert) Piotrowski; cherished grandfather of Paige and Colin; Ryann, Aidan, Caleb and Grace; Emily, Thomas and Madelynn; dear brother of Thomas Ogarek, RoseAnn (late David) Krueger and Mary Lou Semmler; fond brother-in-law of Donna (deceased), Gail (Gene) Dettlaff, Nan White and Alvin Krueger. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Dan was a U.S. Army Veteran. Funeral services for Daniel Ogarek will be held Friday, April 22, 2016, at 8:45 a.m. from the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to Holy Family Catholic Church, Shorewood, for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
