David Cory Obituary
David "Earle" Cory, age 85, of Chicago and Scottsdale, Arizona, died May 29, 2017. A world traveler, United States Air Force Veteran and a member of the TKE Fraternity. Beloved husband of Lois Cory nee Rode; father of David Earle Hargis; grandfather of Alex and Lauren and brother-in-law of John (Jennifer) Rode and Mary Harris. A celebration of his life will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 1458 W. Belmont, Chicago, IL 60657. I am very very sorry to hear of Earl's passing. I so enjoyed getting to know him as a fellow Board Member - we were often in sync on so many areas. I will remember fondly his great dry sense of humor and his wonderful laugh!!! I always respected and admired Earl and his thoughtful and considered views- he really cared and always wanted to make things better for everyone.
