The beautiful voice of David Eric Gethmann went silent December 21, 2018 in Chicago. Musician, writer, artist, actor in Broadway road shows, chef, sommelier, and once voted Boston's Best Waiter, David had many talents. His sense of humor, his kind and generous spirit will be missed by all who knew him.Son, brother, uncle, David is survived by his father Gary (Virginia), mother, Elizabeth Shea (Robert), sister, Leigh Foss (Bill), niece Holly Foss and nephew, Wyatt Foss.A memorial service will be held at a time to be determined.In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to the American Heart Association.Arrangements entrusted to Malec and Sons Funeral Home.
