David Lobes Jr., 87, of Melrose Park. Served in the Civilian Conservation Corps (C.C.C.) from 1933-1937. Beloved husband of Rose, nee Ravanesi; loving father of Barbara (Thomas) Suhrbur; devoted grandfather of Michelle (Rick) Morrell, David Suhrbur and Andrea (Drew) Hays; great-grandfather of Madeline Rose Morrell; dear brother of Sally (the late Joseph) Krafft, Lydia (Ed) Olsen and the late Richard; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. from the Ed Prignano Funeral Home, 1815 W. North Ave. (at Broadway/19th Avenue), Melrose Park to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 a.m. Cremation private. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Childrens Home and Aid Society, 125 S.
