The last time I saw Dave was in New Orleans. He, Marian and I watched a Dixie/Jazz band play at Preservation Hall and I'd swear that I saw tears in his eyes. He was just that happy to be back after so many years. It's a fine way to remember him.

Dave had the best sly whit! He was always making us laugh. His adoration of Marion was evident form the moment we met him. That deep love and whit is what I will always remember! It will inspire me always. His journey has just begun! With love,

Dave, after your long battle with your debilitating illness, you deserve some R and R. May you enjoy many spectacular sunrises over Lake Michigan from the best seat in the house!

Dave Reidy was a good guy. I liked his easy chuckle, lighting wit and agreeable nature. Even though he was sick, he made the trip to watch my son receive his Eagle scout award. I will remember Dave as a classy guy who brought great joy to my sister and was loved by my family. We will miss him dearly.

Dave was a great person and a great uncle! He was always there for the family and so was Marian. He was at almost all the family gatherings intill he was really sick but still i think he would have enjoyed to come anyways! Dave is not a easy person to forget......so hold on to all the memorys you have of him and know that he is still watching from a better place above! So try not to be so sad but think of it as a better thing for him!
love,
Fiona

Marian --
We will sorely miss Dave's presence at our family events, his boistrous laughter, wonderful wry wit, the mischevious twinkle. But most importantly I will miss the looks he gave you from across the room or when you were next to him that said, "I love you, Marian. You make me so happy." I am so happy that your brought him into our lives. He changed us all permanently -- for the better. May he enjoy the never ending reward God gives to generous loving people.
Love Always,
Lark
