Thank you for your loving reception that Summer day when my U-Haul pulled in to your Lake Holiday driveway. You didn’t flinch when both of your daughters joined me in Chicago for a marvelous ‘Three’s Company’ adventure. In one fell swoop you & your beloved had an empty nest all to your own.
I was so impressed by your family’s sophistication that I knew I would be in good hands as we started our new life in the Windy City. Your daughter Pamela so impressed her Mad Men advertising employer that she was assigned the Starkist Tuna account—where Charlie Tuna prided himself on having good taste.
Shannon found herself well attuned to the Chicago Magnificent Mile & Faces nightclub where her Jovan entourage entertained clients. Oh, to see a C-note placed upon the bar to shower us with exuberant hospitality.
What fun it will be to see you & yours at the Pearly Gates where we may reminisce one day.

As your first son-in-law, I was singularly impressed by your warm & engaging manner when we first met in your family´s Lake Holiday home. With good humor, you took it in stride when I moved your two daughters to live with me in Chicago. You taught them so well that they became the toast of the town in our new Hollywood Park neighborhood.
