Dear Kirsh Family,
I am the Tech Director for BGHS, and Tom Kirsh is one of my best and most responsible students. I am sorry, but I never met Don Kirsh, the patriarch of this family, but I would like you all to know how proud he would be of his grandson, Tom. Tom obviously comes from a great family, and I hope your pain of this day is eventually replaced with the joy of rememberance of a wonderful life. My thoughts are with Tom and the rest of his wonderful family. Sincerely, Ed MOON

To the Family of Donald Kirsh - I was saddened to read of his passing since I recently shared the hospital room with him at NW Commnity Hospital. I could tell he was in much pain but was always cooperative with the nurses and doctors. It seemed he had a full life and a large and loving family. My deepest sympathy to you all. You were indeed fortunate to have shared so much.

Terry, Don and I shared an office in 1967 along with Peter Kiess and Wayne Root. We all appreciated his humor and regarded him as a good friend and talented colleague who was always ready to help with information and advice that some of us newer fellows needed. We continued to have interactions over the years and Don was always most supportive. We share your sadness and loss. Tony Vickers
