Dear Kirsh Family,
I am the Tech Director for BGHS, and Tom Kirsh is one of my best and most responsible students. I am sorry,but I never met Don Kirsh, the patriarch of this family, but I would like you all to know how proud he would be of his grandson, Tom. Tom obviously comes from a great family, and I hope your pain of this day is eventually replaced with the joy of rememberance of a wonderful life. To the Family of Donald Kirsh - I was saddened to read of his passing since I recently shared the hospital room with him at NW Commnity Hospital. I could tell he was in much pain but was always cooperative with the nurses and doctors. It seemed he had a full life and a large and loving family. My deepest sympathy to you all. You were indeed fortunate to have shared so much.

Terry, Don and I shared an office in 1967 along with Peter Kiess and Wayne Root. We all appreciated his humor and regarded him as a good friend and talented colleague who was always ready to help with information and advice that some of us newer fellows needed.
