Edward Alan Abraham, "Butch'', as he was known to family members and many friends, was born October 25, 1950, and proudly served many years with the United States Customs Service before his retirement due to illness. He was the beloved husband of Ava Abraham, nee Sauer; loving father of Susan, Catherine, Deborah and Edward Andrew ("Andy''); devoted son of Edward Albert Abraham and Judith Abraham Oslakovich, both deceased, and nephew of Alan Hudson of Chicago; dear brother of John (Linda) Abraham, Mary (Jeffrey) Drewenski and Joanne Tracy; and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday from 3 to 7:30 p.m., followed immediately by a funeral service, at McKenzie Funeral Home, 15618 South Cicero Avenue in Oak Forest, Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to cancer research would be appreciated.
