Edward S. Busche, 80, of Glenview, Oct. 16, 2008, loving husband of Carol Ann; proud father of Brian Edward (Colleen); doting grandfather of Riley and Erin; dear brother of Helen (the late Andrew) Majka and the late Jean Klimala; uncle of Daniel (Kate) Majka, Janet (John) Behnke and Kenneth (Melody) Klimala. Edward was Founder and President of Busche and Markson Inc. and Architectural Consultants Ltd., where he remained active until his retirement. An avid sportsman and skier, Ed especially enjoyed helicopter skiing, and was the founder of Gods Lake Lodge, a World Class Fishing Lodge. He also held a commercial, as well as private, pilot's license with a sea plane rating. Visitation Sunday 2 to 8 p.m. at the N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview. Family and friends will meet for Funeral Mass Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 3535 Thornwood, Glenview. Interment private. Mr. Busche,
I only knew you for a couple of years, however I rather enjoyed my time working with you on your later projects and I am grateful to have learned what I have from you. You were a great man, a great thinker and an absolute treasure to society.
You will be sorely missed. Best wishes and condolences to Carol Ann and family and may you rest in peace.
