Thank you to all who attended our dad's visitation and funeral and those who were there in spirit. Your kind words to the family are greatly appreciated and your comments and memories are very kind. To our aunts and uncles and cousins both those that were able to make it to dad's visitation or funeral and those that have posted their memories, we thank you and really have enjoyed being part of the family. We too are suffering as we do when any of our relatives pass on. To the friends of the family, you are all special to us and we thank you for your thought s and prayers. And to the friends of dad and co-workers that made it to the visitation, Wally, Eddy Z. and Bob, as well as those that were there in spirit, thank you all for your kind thoughts. Dad was a WWII vet, a proud American, a great husband and a great father. He will be greatly missed. Thank you all!

I am having trouble putting a face to the name that sounds familiar. I was one of some 1,000 employees of Spraying Systems but worked in the shop area.
In any event it is a sad day to see the ranks of the early Spraying Systems employess fade off into the sunset ..
Rest in peace Ed.

To my cousins,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad....truly sorry.
So many years, so many miles between all of us, but the memories of all of our family get togethers throughout our childhood have been priceless to me, and I'm pretty sure to all of Nannas offspring .
I always remembered your Dad's Marlin hanging in the basement in the house in Bensenville, and the homing pigeons .
" God gave us memories, so that we may have roses in December."
I thank your Dad and Mom for all the roses that they gave all of us as children. They were the best of times, eh?
I'm so very sorry.

Ed was a very special, patient and humble man. I enjoyed his stories about fishing with his sons and his great pride in his family. Ed was a man of few words,he never complained, and always willing to offer a pleasant word to other residents. I will miss our " fisherman." He was a good man. Karen Lang
