Edward J. Dash Jr., age 85, of Elmhurst, passed away, Feb. 28, 2010, World War II Veteran. Beloved husband of Diane Dash, nee Krebs; loving father of Michael (Kelli) Dash, Kelly (Thomas) Van Denack and Tracy (Matthew) D'Alessandro; loving grandfather of Lauren, Jamie, Taylor, Morgan, Torie and Joseph; fond uncle and cousin of many. He will be greatly missed by all friends and family. A visitation at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary 425 N. York Road, Elmhurst, Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 3 to 9 p.m. A funeral service at the mortuary, Friday, March 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment at Chapel Hill Garden West, Oakbrook Terrace, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 981 Aurora Avenue, Aurora, IL. 60505 or Prancing Horse Center for Therapeutic Horseback Riding Southern Pines, NC 28387-4810 are appreciated.
