We were both shocked and saddened by the new of Ed's passing. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Phil has lost a great fishing and golfing partner and we have both lost a dear friend. May Ed's memory be a blessing to all who were fortunate to have know him.

Dear Connie and Family:
Please accept my condolences on Ed’s passing. I’m sorry that I was not able to attend the visitation. I had the opportunity to work with Ed for several years on the Lisle Chamber of Commerce Board. He was an energetic leader with a wonderful sense of humor, and it was great for me to get his insight and learn from his experience. I appreciate my time spent with him. He will be missed by many of us in Lisle.

Dear Cousin Connie,
My prayers that you and the family find comfort in knowing that your family and friends share in your grief.
My box of treaures contains a letter you sent to me- shortly after you married Ed- saying that "marriage is wonderful". Through the years, Ed was a happy man, thanks to your love and nurturing support.

Dear Connie,
We were so very saddened by the news of Ed's untimely death. His voice on the phone for Wednesday's Board meeting was so strong and vibrant, it made it even harder to believe.
We all know he is truly in a better place with the Good Lord.
His concern for my granddaughter meant a great deal to me. He would always ask me how she was doing.
Carol and I will remember Ed in our prayers, and pray for you to have strength during this difficult time.
God bless you.

I am so sorry to hear of Ed's passing. Ed achieved so much in his life. One of his great contributions was to the Lisle Eyes to Skies Festival. I had the privilege to work with Ed on the committee for several years. He has been such a great inspiration and mentor to me. His integrity, focus, and sheer desire to continue the legacy our festival is an example of his contagious enthusiasm. Ed was so proud and honored to introduce the military representatives on July 4th to lead our Pledge of Allegiance ...he will truly be missed. My deepest condolences to Connie and the family.

I cannot describe that shock and sadness that overwhelmed me when hearing of this tragedy. I served on the board of Cove Towers with Ed and he was not only visionary, but served with the highest level of integrity. I was also lucky to have golfed with Ed in Florida, and was looking forward to doing that next time he came down. He will be missed by me and my condolences to Connie.

We were privileged to know Ed, a man of faith and a man of family, who lived life with all pistons firing behind a great sense of humor. Our history with Ed spanned decades beginning with Joe working for Ed at Bell Labs in the 1980s, Debra entering the picture in 2000, sharing a golf cart many times in beautiful, sunny Naples, and wonderful al fresco dinners with Ed and Connie and Co. We offer love and prayers to Connie, his beautiful wife, and his children, grandchildren and all who mourn this wonderful man who went home to God suddenly on a beautiful spring day.
