Peter & Christine, Eddie & little Raymond,

I read with great sadness the notice of your Dad's passing. Eddie spent many hours at our family home on Central Park, and was a good friend through the years to my brother, Ray. I remember many Pinochle and Poker games at the house, with the smell of his big cigar and the sound of his big, easy laugh filling the room. He was always very kind and generous to the Zentmyers, and I will remember him fondly. He was Ray's pal, way back when, at I.H.M., when they had to stay after school and work at the convent for the nuns! They were partners in crime for a long, long time! Please know that I would have been there for the funeral, had I not had to work; I will be out of town on Friday and Saturday. Our sincere sympathies to the Slabinger family, Mary & Patrick
