Edwin V. Schuette, 69, of Brookfield, beloved husband of Cyndi, nee Kourim; loving father of Marilyn (Alvin) Carroll and Lynn (Scott) Krusee; dearest grandfather of Sarah and Douglas J. Schuette and Lea Krusee; dear brother of Beverly (late Bill) Kazmier, John (Andrea) Deg, Debbie (Skip) Heed and the late Frank Schuette, late Marilyn Ignoffo; fond brother-in-law of Thomas (Therese), Christopher (Lisa) and Peter (Jane) Kourim; son-in-law of Jacqueline (late George) Kourim; uncle; great-uncle of many and special uncle of David, Seth, Sarah, Lauren and soon to arrive "Kid" Kourim. Edwin was a former employee of Danly Machine in Cicero and Windsor Park in Carol Stream. Visitation Tuesday, Jan. 4 from 3 to 9 p.m. with funeral services at 7 p.m., at Ivins/Moravecek Funeral Home, 80 E. Burlington St., Riverside. Funeral info at 708-447-2261 or www.ivinsfh.com.

Ed was a very special person. We met and spent time a couple of days a week as we underwent physical therapy together. He was full of wonderful
stories, knowledge, and he made me laugh every time! My thoughts and prayers are with the family! He will be missed!
