I think one of the most memorable things that sticks in my my, when I think back to time I spent with Elaine, was her virtual indoor garden. She had big beautiful plants all over the place. I will always associate her as the Gardener of Northbrook. Even her street name of Maple will reflect her love of greenery.

I had the pleasure of meeting Elaine through a mutual friend. I always enjoyed talking to her--she was interesting and witty.
My deepest condolences for your loss.
