Elizabeth "Betty" Firestone, nee Kline, 81; beloved wife of the late Berny; loving mother of Steven (Rebecca), Ivy, Cathy and, Elizabeth (Tom) Wippman; cherished grandmother of Michael, Eric and Caroline Wippmana, and Jake and Felicia Firestone; dear sister of Jean (Bob) Gleaton, Roy (Carolyn), and Bob Kline; adored aunt to many; member of a founding family of Highland Park, IL. Memorial Service Wednesday, 2:30 p.m. at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home , 1700 W. Rand Rd., Arlington Heights, IL, 847-255-3520. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ORT or the IL MS Society. Dearest Ivy, Cathy, Elizabeth and Steven:

We loved Betty, as so, so many people did. You are all in my prayers and I wish you peace during this sad time. Betty's beautiful legacy lives on in you and her wonderful grandchildren.

I wish I was able to share my thoughts in person but know I am thinking of you all and sending my love.
