The most perfect rendition of Avenu Malkeinu I ever heard was by Liz. Every Rosh HaShanah, I think of her and wish I could hear her just one more time.
Liz, you were loved by many.

I am a graduate of the College of Wooster and am sadden to learn of her death in the college magazine today. I meet Liz our freshman year in 1970. She was one of the most talented women on campus. It was a great joy to know her. To her family, I hope the memories of the happy times you shared help comfort you during the holidays.

I didn't know about Liz's passing until I received the Wooster Alumni magazine on November 17th. Her vocal talent was certainly obvious to all of us on campus but more importantly, she was the kind of person all of us should aspire to be --kind, affectionate, always positive and unconditionally supportive of everyone she encountered. She made the world a better place, and I am so sorry her family has been deprived of her presence too soon. Her family should take comfort in the knowledge that Liz's was a life well-lived. Though I have not seen Liz for some time, I feel the loss of a remarkable person. I extend my condolences to her family and friends. Sincerely, Malcolm Andrews

Yesterday, Nov. 17, 2017, was the first I heard of Liz's passing in the Wooster Alumni Magazine. I'm so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful soprano & a truly beautiful soul. Yesterday we sang Britten's Rejoice in the Lamb at an Evensong at Christ Presbyterian in Canton OH. It occurred to me today, that Liz sang the Soprano solo when we did it at Wooster in the Spring of 1973. I will always remember her fondly.
Sincerely,
Merle Smith

I met Liz when she played my sister in a community theater production of The Music Man several decades ago. We did many productions together over the years. She was a wonderful musician and collaborator. She will be fondly remembered by all who sang in church choir with her. Liz delighted audiences in Northern Michigan, and one really can't ask for a better legacy than that.
