EMILY GORNEY Obituary

Emily L. Gorney, age 83, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI. She was born on June 26, 1927 in Chicago, IL to her parents Charles and Julia (Jaracz) Pucka. Emily graduated from Kelly High School. On September 28, 1957 she was united in marriage to James Adam Gorney in Chicago where they lived until their retirement to the New Glarus area. Emily is survived by her husband James; two sons Sanford Gorney of Lapeer, MI and Scott Gorney of Frankfort, IL; a daughter Amy (George) Maas of Wanatah, IN; and a grandson Hank Maas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Robert and Chester Pucka. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home, 29 6th Ave., New Glarus, WI. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2010 at the Zentner-Beal Funeral Home in New Glarus. www.bealfuneralhomes.com
