I also was a student at St. Pat's Acadamay.
Dear Sister Mario, as we knew her, was a breath
of fresh air for all her students! She was warm,
energetic, fun - so many adjectives to describe her. I also remember her dear little friend, her dog, Ami! God bless you and keep you always, Sister Mario.

I, too, was at St. Patrick Academy. I had Sister Mario for several classes. I loved her and she was always one of my favorite teachers.

Evelyn was Sister Mario to me, as a freshman at St. Pat´s Academy for girls in Des Plaines in 1965. What an inspiring teacher! She taught religion as sociology and introduced me to the world´s great religions. I remember her and honor her. May her memory be for a blessing.

So very sorry to hear this. Sister Mario was my sociology teacher at St Patrick Academy. Because if her, I majored in sociology. She was an inspiration to all and so very loved by those of us fortunate enough to have known her. "Well done, good and faithful servant." Rest in Peace, Sister Mario. Marian Dolan Fricano.
