Fran Sharp Auslander, 31, unexpectedly, November 13, 2009. Beloved wife of Stewart Auslander;dearly devoted mother of Spencer and Mason; loving daughter of Arlene and Robert Sharp; daughter-in-law of Meryl and Carter Auslander;grand-daughter of Louis (the late Seme) Auslander, Gladys and Leonard Floom, the late Morris and Minnie Sharp, and the late Fanny and Louis Lane; fond sister of Ari Sharp and Shaun (Elissa) Sharp; sister-in-law of Ross (Stacy) and Lindsey Auslander; aunt of Cailey and Emily. Funeral services Monday (call for time of service) at The Piser Chapel, 9200 N. Skokie Blvd. (at Church St). Skokie. Interment Rosehill Cemetery, Chicago. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, 386 Park Avenue South, 17th Floor, New York, NY 10016-8804, would be appreciated. I am so saddened to hear of Fran's untimely passing. We went to school together through the Roslyn School District. My thoughts and prayers are with the Sharp and Auslander families. I know that her children will be comforted in knowing that their mother was such a kind person and I'm sure she loves them very much. She is simply watching down on them from heaven.

My thoughts and prayers are constantly with the Sharp and Auslander families. I miss Fran so much. I got to know her from seeing her every Monday morning when she would drop off Spencer at his park district class I help teach. I love seeing Spencer every week. He is a very special, and thoughtful little boy. My heart goes out to your whole family.

Words cannot begin to express the sorrow I feel over the loss of such a wonderful person. Fran was an incredible friend, wife and mother. Having met her in graduate school, we stayed friends through the years. I was so excited when she told me she was moving up to Highland Park. We had a playdate Wednesday morning with our kids. She was so excited for the baby to come and you could easily see how in love with Spencer she was just by how she looked at him. She will always be missed.
