Frances Forsek Obituary

Frances L. Forsek (nee Prelesnik) age 99, a resident of Downers Grove, IL formerly of Darien and Brookfield, died October 12, 2014 at Oak Trace Health Center. She was born October 19, 1914 in Oglesby, IL. Devoted wife of the late Edward Forsek, beloved mother of Diane (Virgil) Oostendorp , adored grandmother of Kristin (Joseph) Jung , Heather (John) Hester, Kimberly (Steve) O'Hare , proud great grandmother of Danielle, Thomas, Nicholas Jung, Kayleigh, Matthew, Peter Hester, Nathan, Sydney, Sadie, Naomi and Fiona O'Hare, dear sister of Joseph Prelesnik , 3 nephews and 6 nieces. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her 5 brothers and sisters. She was retired from Sears, was a long time member of Union Church, Hinsdale and a senior reader at Walker School in Clarendon Hills, IL. Visitation will be at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien on Wednesday October 15 from 6 pm - 9 pm. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to The Union Church of Hinsdale, 137 S.
