Duffy, Permanent Deacon at St. Henry Parish since 1974, WWII Vet., beloved husband of Marie, nee Schiffer; loving father of Michael (Irene) Duffy, Shawna (Marc) Brauer, Joseph (Melonie) Duffy, Kathleen (Alan) McLaughlin, Theresa, Timothy, Christopher and Colleen Duffy; devoted grandfather of Erin Duffy, Morgan, Colin and Kelsey Brauer and Kayla and Sara McLaughlin; fond brother of Mary (the late John) Falkenreck, Sr. Ellen Joan Duffy SNJM, Lou (Burl) Winder and the late Paul (Frances) Duffy and Lee (John) Noakes; kind uncle to many. Funeral Thursday, March 9 at 9:30 a.m. from the John E. Maloney Co. Funeral Home, 1359 W. Devon Avenue, to St. Henry Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 4 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions to either St. Henry Parish, 6335 N. Hoyne, Chicago, IL 60645 or Midwest Palliative Care, 2050 Clair Court, Glenview, IL 60025 appreciated. Funeral info, 773-764-1617.
