Mr. Bexes was an incredible teacher, his heart was in everything he said and trained us in at GBS. I look back fondly on my days in his automotive class, he taught me more than just technical skills, he educated me on how to conduct myself properly and with respect. Mr. Bexes shone a light on skilled trades that no one anywhere else, in school or outside of it, ever talked about as the only option was to "get a college degree" Mr. Bexes opened my eyes to the other opportunities out there for me and I am saddened to discover his passing. I deeply-admired him as a person, as did every one of his students. He is missed.

I just heard of Frankie's passing. He was more than my distant cousin, he was my good friend. We laughed together, walked together and shared our feelings like kindred spirits do. I will be forever grateful for having him in my life and for his love and selfless generosity towards me and others. I will also be forever grateful for him not only being my youngest brother's Godfather but also for beiing my only child's Godfather, of which he took the lead...He was a born leader, and yes, a
born comedian too, we shared some fun times. The last time he reached out to me was on Facebook after not seeing me for many years and telling me he was really concerned about me. Ironically, I had been in Chicago going through a really rough time and wanted to just talk with him but he wasn't home when I finally found his home number and I didnt leave my name that day. I needed his love and understanding that Xmas 2014. Then I returned home to Las Vegas to learn he reached out to me on FB at the same time I tried to reach out to him while in Chicago...He just knew in his heart and soul I was hurting!!! Frankie, you are an Angel and will always be forever in my heart. I love you, Gone too soon, RIP. With Love and my Condolences to your family of which I know you love so much.

Frank my dear cousin, you will always be in my heart. From the time you were a little boy you always loved to see people laugh. You loved playing jokes on your cousins and your Aunts and making us laugh till we cried. You could disguise your voice and do the funniest imitations of anyone. I will never forget when you called Aunt Mary the day of one of her parties and pretended to be the baker and told her you couldn't make the cakes for her party. You really had her going. Then when she realized it was you we all laughed for weeks. You were always the life of the party. I always tried to talk you into being a professional comedian. I remember when you had your boat and you always took your cousins out to have a great time on Lake Michigan. I will always miss those days. Then you met the love of your life, Vicky, and had your beautiful daughter Georgia. I could always see in your eyes the love and pride you had for them.
I will miss you forever and always think of the good times. I love you Cuz. Give Uncle Gus and my Mom a big hug from me in heaven.

I've tried for several days to find the words to say and I don't believe I ever will. I'm so incredibly sorry to the family! Frank Bexes was my teacher for four years at Glenbrook South. He was like a father to me he was family and will always have a special place in my heart! I cannot thank him for all of the memories and all of the lessons he taught me

I simply don't have the words to express how much Frank meant to me. He was such a great guy, who felt things deeper than most. He positively touched the lives of so many young people during his years teaching. He was one of my dearest friends, and I will miss him (especially his laugh) terribly. My most sincere condolences to his family, for whom he would have done anything for.
With Love,
Lisa Solesky
