Lorie and family - you have all shown a heroic strength and demonstration of what it means to be a family and to be loved. Frank was a very special soul who gave his spirit and self to everyone he touched. He leaves behind a living legacy in his family that will continue to nurture and represent all the good things Frank brought to this world. He will be missed but will not be forgotten.

I am shocked to hear of Frank's passing. I found out just recently when I happened to check the actuarial website. I remember Frank from our days at U of Michigan, Couzens Hall to be exact, and he didn't like me or my roommate as we constantly had our stereo turned up too loud. Already, Frank was the serious student! His attitude toward me softened when he found out I was also studying to be an actuary.
I did not keep close contact with him, but I often saw him at meetings and receptions, and we would reminisce, with good humor, about our college days. As others have said, his nature was so well-meaning, and he was always very interested in my welfare. I will miss him.
My condolences to his family.

Dear Lori and Family,
I was surprised to hear of Frank's death and saddened that no cure could be found for his illness. If more people could be like Frank Longo, our world be full of warmer, friendlier, and more caring people. Our paths crossed from time to time in Charlotte, Schaumburg, Northbrook, actuarial meetings, and at the Mike Corey parties in Lake Geneva. Ever happy to be married to Loretta, ever the proud parent of his children, ever smiling as a hard working actuary, ever pleased with his job no matter the hours, and ever thankful for his days at U of M, Frank enjoyed life and his profession.
With Sympathy

Lorie and Family -
My deepest sympathy to all of you. I met Frank 20 yrs. ago in New York as a business colleague, but he quickly became a friend. Frank was the definition of "nice" and he will be truly missed by all of us whose lives he touched. His attitude and strength in the past few years were so inspiring! May you find comfort in the love he had for you, and the knowledge that many people share your sorrow.

Lorie and family, Somehow, I just didn't expect this day to come. Frank was always so positive and full of life. Never did I talk to Frank when he was morose. He always had a good word to say. He was one of the most positive and forward thinking people I know. His love of life, family and learning were contagious. He always brightened my day and I'm better for having known him. My thoughts and prayers have been and will be with you and your family.

Lorie and family -
I'm not sure if you remember me from New York Life, but Frank hired me and was my first boss here. He was a great supervisor, and taught me a lot that I still use today (sign and date everything!) I was shocked to hear of his passing, but want you to know my thoughts are with you.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Frank Longo. I had the privelege of knowing and working with Frank at Provident Life. We were associates, but more importantly, we were friends. I am shocked and saddened by his untimely death. God bless.
