Fred Fink Obituary

Fred Fink, 96, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2013. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Emily "Mickey", nee Schweigerdt; his parents Carl and Amelia Fink; brothers, Carl, William, Alec and Albert; sisters, Amelia Clem, Kate Wegner and Sophie Winterholler. Left to mourn is his sister Elizabeth Fiechtner, many nieces and nephews, dear old friends and new friends from Central Baptist Village. Visitation Tuesday, 11 a.m. until time of service 11:30 a.m. at Kolbus-John V. May Funeral Home 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago. Entombment Mount Olive Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Eden United Church of Christ 5051 W. Gunnison St, Chicago, IL 60630 would be appreciated. For information 773-774-3232 or www.kolbusmayfh.com.

We will miss you so much my dear neighbor and friend. You were such a wonderful gardener, I remember the beautiful flowers that you took care of and how everything was so perfect in your yard. Thank you so much for the wonderful memories...God Bless!
