George is survived by his children; Beth and husband David; and Chris and wife Andrea; brother Michael and wife Patricia; niece Megan; grandchildren Samantha and Alexander. George was preceded in death by wife Elizabeth.

George was my first professional boss after college. Good guy who helped a raw rookie learn some of the ropes in large organization real estate development. We lost touch a few years later when I moved to a long career I. banking. But George left a positive imprint. God Bless him and his family.

I recall George well as we were classmates at York High School, class of '58. We often went to his family home, on Butterfield Road, when his parents were not home, to share lies and movies. George was the best photographer York had for sporting events and contributions to the York-Hi and the yearbook. When Road America first opened, he and I and several others took a memorable trip to Wisconsin which I believe led to his lifelong commitment to the sport. Nothing but pleasant memories of him.
