George will truly be missed. He was always the first one to lend a hand, listen to a problem and generally be the bestest friend he could be. I wa so blessed in knowing him & working with him. Great animal lover to boot. We loved to hear all his life stories. It was an honor & a great pleasure to know him.

I am so sorry for your loss, the heartache cannot be put into words but please find comfort in Psalms 57:1 "...For I take refuge in you, and in the shadow of your wings I take refuge until the troubles pass."

I am so Sorry to hear of George's long battle with cancer. I first met George in 5TH grade at St. Francis of Assisi school and from Harmony house. Always smiling and laughing. Nice man.

My earliest memory of my Uncle is when I was in first grade and he was at our house when my Mom came home with our new baby, my brother Joe. They sent Uncle to get me from school, a block away. I was halfway home and met him running down the sidewalk waving and at me and laughing and smiling and grabbing my hand and pulling me, telling me to hurry because the baby was home! He had the most happy and joyful look on his face, I have never forgot it... it is the image I hold of my Uncle forever, whenever I think of him.
