George Gatto Obituary

George Gatto Jr., age 68, of Aurora, IL, formerly of Chicago and Berkeley, IL, loving husband of Rita M., nee McCabe; beloved father of Diane (Craig) Gifford, Kevin (Sheila), Craig (Sheri) and Denise Gatto; adored grandfather of Nicole (Matthew) Baugh, Lindsay, Danielle and Justine Gifford, Brandon, Brittney, Brianna and Brooke Gatto and Tyler Gatto; devoted son of the late George Sr. and Emily Gatto; dear brother of Dominick (Norma) Gatto, Angelina (the late Louis) Rizzatto and the late Joseph and Frank Gatto and the late Rose Blacconeri and Loretta Hickey; fond uncle of many. Mr. Gatto served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a 35 year employee of Illinois Bell. Visitation Monday, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St., Naperville. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, 10:30 a.m., for Committal Services at the Interment Chapel at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Entombment will follow in Christ the King Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Thomas Hospice. For info: 630-355-0213.
