I met George in "96 when he was recently hired by Continental Cablevision. He walked in wearing his Blackhawk jacket....and I knew right then and there a very special person entered my life. George was the accounting guru and I was the traffic manager....and our mission was to clean up the mess that was left for us! Let's just say it was a "unique" place to work...and George and I were the only two "normal" employees. We commiserated over lunch (at Portillo's most times) and our friendship grew. We shared the same values and our families were most important to us. After we moved out of IL and headed west to AZ, we kept in contact...via phones calls, birthday and Christmas cards... Acquaintances come and go....but my real and true friend was there with me for the long haul! Love you, dear friend.
