Am sorry to find this online and wish the family my deepest condolences. The Unterberg family was like a second home in highschool.

Our sympathies and prayers go out to Gary and the entire family. Gary and Mark worked together in leadership at Rodgers Consulting for some 25 years. Although we never met George, we know he and the family mean the world to Gary and will be terribly missed.

Sympathy to Lois and all your family.
I played baseball with George for 4 years at UNM. We had great times together, and the team got better every year. The 4th year we were both married and had small apartment near each other. Socialized together and played board games. Good times and great memories.
Rest in peace.

I first met George at Calumet High School in 1950. We played together on the basketball team and football team.George was not only an exceptional athlete but a great friend.George was always a kind and hard working participant in sports. He was an honor student and a good friend to all his teammates. Thank You George for being my teammate both on and off the field. George was always so proud of his wife and children and loved them with his whole heart. A life well lived! I will miss you!

I worked with George at Rawlings for many years prior to his retirement. He was an exceptional person with a kind heart and great sense of humor along with being an excellent salesman. I think back to all the fun times I had with George and his good friends Ray Shenberg and Chuck Russell during our careers at Rawlings. I especially thank George for all his assistance in learning the national account retail sales position as he was a great role model with his work ethic and professionalism. George will never be forgotten and his friendship I will always treasure and appreciate. A great husband, father and friend.
George, God Bless and Rest in Peace.
