George Van Der Molen, 86, beloved husband of the late Alice; loving father of Gary (Karla), Russell (Leah), Dennis (Fritzie) and the late Craig; proud grandfather of Gary J. (Kristen), Cassandra (Eric) Brooks, Aaron, Seth, Laura (Dan) Meyer, Victoria (Ron) Keith and Jared; great-grandfather of Brooke, Jaxon, Logan, Mason, Owen and Aubrey; brother-in-law of Katherine "Joyce" (Dr. James Cook) Van Der Molen and Johanna Madrigali; brother of the late Bernard, Nell VanderArk, Harold, Everett and Dorothy Setsma; and many caregivers including Ederlinda, for whom he had a special fondness. Visitation Sunday, April 29, from 1 to 7 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton. Funeral Monday, 10:30 a.m. at Faith Community Church, 910 Main St. in West Chicago, IL 60185. We send our condolances with the loss of George Van Der Molen. We over the years have had a special bond with George and the late Alice. Our contacts go back to the year 1949 when we emigrated from Holland to Canada. We trust that George now has gone to a place that he can be with his Lord and Savior for ever.
