Georgeann was bigger than life and for that reason she lives on forever! Here it is 8 years since she died and she is still ever-present in my mind and heart. She gifted me with a small chime heart which I look at often, ring its bell and think of her. She was so generous, enthusiastic and passionate - about everything. She gave fully of herself and I am happy to say she was my friend. Her Spirit lives on everywhere in all the lives she touched.

Dear Little G & Family - My sincerest condolences to you all as together we mourn the loss of a very special woman who truly made this land a better place. Her heart was huge, her humor endless and love of life admirable. I will always remember Georgann as my sister Linda’s friend who also became mine. She lightened up any room and brought such a light-hearted, positive, profound sense to any situation or setting, never with airs or agenda. Her personality and presence will remain in my heart and I will think of her often. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. Truly yours, Donna Von Oehsen (sister of “Beth”/Linda Von Oehsen Roach).

Georgeann's generosity of spirit and infectious enthusiasm are fond and lasting memories for me. Her life was a celebration and there's no doubt that she is now flying with the angels. I send my deepest sympathies to you Little G and to your sons whom your mother spoke of so often.

Little G,
You probably don't remember me, but I knew your mom through my stepfather, Bob Fomon, who as chairman of EF Hutton at the time, brought the Skakel family business, Great Lakes Carbon into one of the first leveraged buyouts in history. We were invited over to your grandparents house in Greenwich and spent the day by the pool with your grandmother and uncle.
My fondest memory of your mother is when she took me out to lunch for my birthday at Cafe des Artistes in New York, ordered champagne to celebrate then took me to the Metropolitan museum to see an impressionist painting exhibit and bought two Matisse posters for me. She was just something else. When my partner Vincent and I first moved down to the Palm Beach area, we ran into your mother at the movies one night and then had a lovely visit with her at her terriffic apartment on Worth Avenue. My family will miss her terribly and send you our deepest sympathies.
