Gerald J. "Tim" Daly age 75; suddenly on December 5, 2015; Cherished husband of 54 years of Carol; loving father of Gerald Jr. "Jerry", Michael (Kim) and Chad; devoted grandpa of Ryan (fiancee, Sarah), Alison, Dawson and Ben; dear brother of Barron (Judy) and Rob (Myrna) and brother-in-law of Linda Ruley; fond uncle of many; treasured son of the late Barron Sr. and Jane and son-in-law of the late Kermit and Erna. He will be mourned by lifelong friends, Paul and MaryLee and Bonnie. He was a retired employee of Jewel/Osco. One of the twelve original managers with Osco's entrance into the Chicago market. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation Wednesday 3:00 - 8:00 pm and Thursday 9:00 am until time of funeral, 10:15 am at The Oaks Funeral Home 1201 E. Irving Park Road (at Prospect), Itasca to Saint Peter Church. Mass 11:00 am. Interment Saint Luke Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated.
