Hey Partner, How u be!!! I miss hearing those words from you...WOW I can't believe that it has been almost a year since we all gathered around your bed and watched you peacefully leave us and go to your eternal heavenly home. It was so hard on all of us, we all shared a special bond with you and we were so blessed to have had you in our lives. I know I will always treasure our special memories. I miss you Papa, ALOT!!! I thought I had to be strong for the longest time after you went home and now I realized that I just can't be strong anymore, its just way to hard. I am crying and sad all the time, and I just miss you too much, I miss your smiles, laughther, "I'm bashful" jokes, flying hands, and flying wine glasses...LOL...you name it, I miss it!!! The holidays just aren't the same, and never will be. I know that you are in such a better place now, but it is so sad without you here. We are sticking together but you were the super glue that really stuck us. BTW Just so you know Papa, Nannie and I have become partners in crime, and have been trying to keep out of trouble, but not always successful at that. :) I see you everyday, I have this beautiful picture of you and me, from one of our many family events, sitting on my desk. Until we meet again, you will always be in my heart. I love you forever!!!

Love,
Your "partner" Tina Beana

Yesterday I was so blue, I later realized it was a year ago, we had Easter in the hospital with you. You got to see all of us - your spirits were high- you had your coffee and your cinnamon celiac donuts.. who would have known that was the last time I would have "real" contact with you...two days later you were having a tough time and the Docs later put you in a coma...we were all so hopeful. I prayed and prayed so hard, for your recovery-I had a shrine in my bedroom-...it still hurts till this day, God had his reasons, but it is still soo hard to understand and I will always ask WHY>???
I had a breakdown last nite as I held your picture close to my heart, and the tears are streaming down my face now...I love you Dad and I miss you SOOO much...we all do......you were the best.
your everloving daughter, Kathy

Al Krajecke

April 29, 2009

Hello to the Pieroni family. I just found out today about the passing. I was a co-worker and friend of Gerry, my name is Al Krajecke. We shared an office for awhile back in the 1980's. At that time, I just was promoted to Foreman and was relatively young and naive. Gerry took me under his wing and showed me how to conduct myself professionally. However, most importantly he showed me how to treat employees. Gerry was a very empathetic man who made sure that everyone that worked with (for) him felt truly appreciated each and every day.

Gerry's smile lit up the room and made whomever he greeted feel like they were family that he hadn't seen for a long time.

I moved to Iowa about ten years ago. But I came into the city to bowl in the annual Petersen Classic and always looked forward to seeing him and Jerry.

My deepest sympathy and condolences. I will always remeber how Gerry touched my life and made us all better for knowing him.

God bless Gerry and God bless the Pieroni family.
