I was shocked to learn of Greg's passing. I worked with Greg at the Commissioner of Banks. His positive attitude and friendly smile motivated and lifted the spirits of all of us who worked with him. I remember most conversations with Greg got around to family sooner or later, and in my mind, there was no more loving, caring, and proud husband and father than Greg. I had not seen Greg since I left the Commissioner of Banks in 1995 until I was in the Chicago FRB about a year ago. I could not believe he was exactly the same positive person I remembered; with that always present smile. I bet he is smiling right now!
You have my sympathy and prayers. May Christ's peace be with you and your family now and forever.

We will greatly miss the knowledge and experience Greg brought to our work at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. But we will miss even more his good humor, ever-present smile and most of all his good humor. Please accept my sympathy for your loss, and know we appreciate all the sacrifices that your family made so that Greg could contribute to making our financial system stronger. He will be missed.

It was a shock to me today to find out that Greg passed away. I'am so sad. I will never forget the things that you did for me , to help me when I needed it the most in my lifetime and I will always remeber Greg driving to the new office and also playing with the dog in the back yard. Your boys are the greatest kids I've met. How I remeber you picking me up for work. Bringing me soup and apple. There are not enough words to for gratutde. I will always remeber and love you all.

We will always embrace wonderful memories, good times and learning experiences with Greg. We had great trips and wonderful times on steam excursions that wandered through the mountains of Colorado and New Mexico. There were always many laughs and great fellowship. Greg will be sorely missed. Our prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

I am so shocked to hear about Greg. I recall with great fondness our trips to Colorado to ride the rails and explore the old railroad lines. Everytime I look at the magazine that has pictures of trains that I painted I remember how proud Greg was of the magazine that printed pictures of locomotives that he painted. I will always have him in my thoughts and heart. I have only wonderful memories of my good friend. May the Lord be with you and your family now and forever.

My deepest sympathies during your time of loss. Greg was a great friend and I really enjoyed working with him. He was a mentor of sorts and we spoke of your family often. His love for you Brenda was undeniable and his pride in his sons immeasurable. Though we barely know each other, I feel I know you because he spoke of you every day. When we work away from home, we bond. Greg was a joy and words cannot express the sorrow at his loss. He so enjoyed his hobbies and sought what joy there was in work too. When we ate together, he liked to call them therapy sessions only they were far more enjoyable. He will be missed.
