HELEN ANN JUSKIEWICZ

Helen Ann Juskiewicz, nee Migdal, 94, of White Stone passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Victoria Migdal; her husband, Frank Juskiewicz; a son, Danny Juskiewicz and son-in-law, Robert Freundt. She is survived by her sister and best friend, Emily Szumnarski; her daughters, Barb Landa (Ron) and Mary Freundt; a son, Tom Juskiewicz; seven grandchildren, Ed (Jac), Stephanie, Jason (Rebecca), Robyn (Joe), Tony, Matt (Kelly), Andy (Nicole); four great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A native of Chicago and survivor of the Great Depression, Helen worked for Time, Inc. She lived in Lafayette, New Jersey for over 25 years where she was active in the Lafayette Senior Citizens Club and volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Sparta Special Children's School and Newton Memorial Hospital. Helen moved to White Stone in 2006, where she enjoyed volunteering at Rappahannock General Hospital and the White Stone Methodist Church Thrift Shop. She was also a member of the White Stone Woman's Club. She was devoted to her family and friends and a loving servant of God. Memorial services and interment will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 in the Chapel at Saint Adalbert Catholic Cemetery, 6800 Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, IL.
