HENRY LOUKOTA Obituary

Henry "Hank" L. Loukota, age 84; beloved husband of the late Bessie (Betty) Loukota; dear friend and companion of Lucille Jeffery; devoted father of Debbie (Mike) Crowley and Jim (Debbie) Loukota; loving grandfather of Amy (Brian) Cowell, Jimmy and Justin; dear brother of Dorothy (Sidney) Sanko Najman and John (Pat) Loukota; uncle to many nieces and nephews. Henry served during World War II in the Merchant Marines and served in the Navy from 1945 to 1946 as a Seaman First Class on board the USS Libra and USS Hermitage where he earned the World War II Victory Medal, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal and the American Campaign Medal. Henry founded Central Blacktop Co., Inc. in 1960. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. Resting at the Schmaedeke Funeral Home, 10701 S. Harlem Ave., where Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 17060 Oak Park Ave., Tinley Park, IL 60477 708-448-6000

All of my memories are of Uncle Hank smiling. I hope that's how you come to
remember him too. He was a good man, and he accomplished much to be proud of...a wonderful family, a beautiful home, and a successful business. He worked hard, but he was always up for some fun.
