We had a great time playing baseball for him at Lindblom. We worked hard to develop a great team with a lot of lifelong friends. One year it seemed like the whole baseball team was in his History of Art class thinking we'd have an easy time. He made us work harder that any other class than I had ever taken in high school. A good man and a great friend.

This is the '64 Lindblom Eagle yearbook photo of Mr. Forman. I did the math and figured that he had to start teaching around 1957 - add 50 years and that makes 2007. My yearbook collection is mostly between 1950 and 1965. I scanned the best ones I found.

Mr. Forman taught Art at Lindblom from 1957 to . . . . I found 4 yearbook photos. This one is from 1958.

Coach Forman was the baseball coach at Lindblom HS 1963-1964. Coach used to say you guys run the team not me. I would tell him he kept a group of big ego teenage boy focused on baseball and team, not individual stats. He was a good man and well respected by us all. God Bless, Rest in Peace, Coach.

Herbert Forman was a grand human being. He was a teacher,artist and all around good person with a sense of humor and wonderful smile. He and Betty made the world a better place for all of us. Rest in Peace.
