Herman R. Ellenby, age 90, of Northbrook, a long-time respected pharmacist, Herm loved his family so much, he delighted in their achievements and knowing what outstanding people they have become; beloved husband for 69 years of Jocelyn "Joy", nee Robinson; loving father of Marc (Kiki) Ellenby, Cheryl (Scott) Harris and Dana (Art) Bergeron; adored grandfather of Adena (Walter), Aliya (Marcelo), Jody, Levi, Dr. Stefan (Katie), Bennett, Hugh (Amy) and Sophie (Harry); proud great grandfather of Mateo, Teva and Lisandro; devoted son of the late Louis and Sophie Ellenby; cherished brother of Dr. Jay (Teeny) Ellenby and the late Milton (Helaine) Ellenby and late Julius Ellenby; dear brother-in-law of Leslie Robinson; treasured uncle and friend to many. Service Friday, 12 Noon at The Chapel, 8851 Skokie Blvd., Skokie (at Niles Center Rd.). Interment Westlawn Cemetery.
